Unforgettable Kilimanjaro & Safari Adventure with Mateys Wild Tours We were a group of 9 international Wim Hof Method female instructors on a powerful mission—to summit Kilimanjaro in record time. Thanks to the outstanding support from our guide Mike and his incredible team, six of us reached Uhuru Peak in just 46 hours via the Marangu Route. It was a truly unforgettable, soul-stirring experience.From start to finish, the entire crew—guides, porters, cook, and our ever-smiling waiter—showed exceptional care, professionalism, and warmth. They handled everything flawlessly and made sure we felt safe, supported, and strong every step of the way.We stayed at Panama Garden Resort before and after the climb—an ideal, peaceful spot to rest and recharge. Thank You ❤️ Through Mateys, we booked an escort for our challenge, in which we wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro within 48 hours. 9 women from all over the world, ready to master this crazy idea. The team of people who took care of us was really amazing. Starting with Phillip who handled and communicated everything, through all the guides, cooks, waiters and porters. It was an amazing group of people who did everything to make it happen. 6 of us actually went to the top, the others a little lower. These people, they were so welcoming and wonderful, the whole trip wouldn't have been so perfect without them. in addition to helping, they created a perfect mood, with frequent singing, dancing and always smiling faces despite being tired. Safari of our dreams! 😀 First of all I would like to thank Philipo, the company owner, who really went out of his way to accomodate all our requests. From the first time I spoke to him to book our safari, he was really efficient in responding all of my queries and requests. He tailored a custom-made safari tour based on our budget and time limitations. We stayed in contact until the day of safari where the company car came to pick us from our hotel to take us on our safari to Tarangire national park. This was such an amazing experience where we had the chance to see so many animals such as elephants 🐘, zebras 🦓, lions 🦁, monkeys 🐒, warthogs 🐗 and much more! We even had the chance to see ostriches mating which according to our guide, this was a very rare occasion! We continued on our way to the picnic area to have lunch 🥘 in an amazing setting. Matey's thought of everything! It was a really nice, delicious lunch. Following thay we continued on some more game drive and then we were driven to our accommodation at Marera lodge - such a wonderful place! 🛏🛎 But before that, we were taken to a traditional Maasai village where we experienced the village life. This was really unexpected and such a memorable experience!The following morning we went on our way to Ngorongoro national park where we were treated to multiple more animals - this time even more close! We were also able to see a rhino 🦏 from afar! We were told this was one of the most difficult ones to see...On this day, Matey's treated us to a special surprise. Since we were on our honeymoon, they prepared a special lunch for us, with a personalised bottle of champagne 🍾🥂 Not only that but they even sent a professional videographer for our 2 days on safari. David was such an amazing and fun person. He took photos and videos of us in all occassions and made us feel very comfortable. A truly cool person!Last but not least I cannot mention our guide, Gabriel who was so attentive to detail and such a knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions on all kinds of animals!In conclusion, I cannot recommend Matey's enough to anyone who wishes to do a safari tour in Tanzania. This will be the safari of your dreams ☺️😀

Our experience with Mateys Wild Tours was absolutely unforgettable We embarked on the 7-day Machame route to Kilimanjaro, guided by the exceptional Mike Sandi, and we couldn’t have asked for a better leader.
