We know the numbers might seem high, but here’s why: organizing safaris and Kilimanjaro climbs is costly. For each trip, Mateys Wild Tours covers:
- National Park fees ($100–$500 per day for safaris; $1,000–$1,200 for Kilimanjaro climbs)
- Accommodation in quality hotels and lodges (average $200 per night, including meals)
- Salaries for experienced guides, porters, and support teams (a Kilimanjaro climb may require 10 people for one trekker)
- Filming permits (starting at $2,000 each)
On average, a single-person trip costs $5,000–$7,000, and premium experiences can exceed $10,000. We invest heavily to ensure your experience is world-class—but we also need to make sure your content reaches an audience that can discover and engage with Mateys Wild Tours.
