Verified Climbing Kilimanjaro in 48 hours was beyond anything I imagined — the crew worked from the soul
Climbing Kilimanjaro with this crew was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I reached the summit in just 48 hours — something I never imagined possible — and I could not have done it without this incredible team. Their dedication, energy, and spirit were beyond anything I expected. They didn’t just guide us; they supported us with heart and soul every step of the way. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere uplifting, and I felt truly cared for from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone ready to take on the mountain. You won’t just climb — you’ll transform.

Verified Unforgettable Kilimanjaro & Safari Adventure with Mateys Wild Tours
We were a group of 9 international Wim Hof Method female instructors on a powerful mission—to summit Kilimanjaro in record time. Thanks to the outstanding support from our guide Mike and his incredible team, six of us reached Uhuru Peak in just 46 hours via the Marangu Route. It was a truly unforgettable, soul-stirring experience. From start to finish, the entire crew—guides, porters, cook, and our ever-smiling waiter—showed exceptional care, professionalism, and warmth. They handled everything flawlessly and made sure we felt safe, supported, and strong every step of the way.We stayed at Panama Garden Resort before and after the climb—an ideal, peaceful spot to rest and recharge. Logistics were seamless throughout. After Kilimanjaro, a friend and I went on an amazing safari through Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a magical canoe trip on Lake Duluti.Philipo, the owner of Mateys Wild Tours, went above and beyond— surprising us with personalized mugs, name bracelets, a celebration cake on the mountain, and even helping us connect with Msamaria Children's Center before hand. Msamaria is a local children’s NGO, for which we raised funds previous to our climb. That part of the journey was a meaningful goal of this adventure and deeply touched our hearts. Philipo’s care and dedication made all the difference. This was more than an adventure—it was a journey full of nature, of strength, connection, and heart. If you are looking to explore Tanzania with care, professionalism, and soul, I believe that Matey’s Wild Tours is the team to trust. You’ll be in the best hands.

 Verified Thank You ❤️
Through Mateys, we booked an escort for our challenge, in which we wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro within 48 hours. 9 women from all over the world, ready to master this crazy idea. The team of people who took care of us was really amazing. Starting with Phillip who handled and communicated everything, through all the guides, cooks, waiters and porters. It was an amazing group of people who did everything to make it happen. 6 of us actually went to the top, the others a little lower. These people, they were so welcoming and wonderful, the whole trip wouldn't have been so perfect without them. in addition to helping, they created a perfect mood, with frequent singing, dancing and always smiling faces despite being tired. Thank you very much for this experience and I will never forget it. I recommend Mateys to everyone, because you will be well taken care of

Verified Safari of our dreams! 😀
First of all I would like to thank Philipo, the company owner, who really went out of his way to accomodate all our requests. From the first time I spoke to him to book our safari, he was really efficient in responding all of my queries and requests. He tailored a custom-made safari tour based on our budget and time limitations. We stayed in contact until the day of safari where the company car came to pick us from our hotel to take us on our safari to Tarangire national park. This was such an amazing experience where we had the chance to see so many animals such as elephants 🐘, zebras 🦓, lions 🦁, monkeys 🐒, warthogs 🐗 and much more! We even had the chance to see ostriches mating which according to our guide, this was a very rare occasion! We continued on our way to the picnic area to have lunch 🥘 in an amazing setting. Matey's thought of everything! It was a really nice, delicious lunch. Following thay we continued on some more game drive and then we were driven to our accommodation at Marera lodge - such a wonderful place! 🛏🛎 But before that, we were taken to a traditional Maasai village where we experienced the village life. This was really unexpected and such a memorable experience! The following morning we went on our way to Ngorongoro national park where we were treated to multiple more animals - this time even more close! We were also able to see a rhino 🦏 from afar! We were told this was one of the most difficult ones to see...On this day, Matey's treated us to a special surprise. Since we were on our honeymoon, they prepared a special lunch for us, with a personalised bottle of champagne 🍾🥂 Not only that but they even sent a professional videographer for our 2 days on safari. David was such an amazing and fun person. He took photos and videos of us in all occassions and made us feel very comfortable. A truly cool person!Last but not least I cannot mention our guide, Gabriel who was so attentive to detail and such a knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions on all kinds of animals! In conclusion, I cannot recommend Matey's enough to anyone who wishes to do a safari tour in Tanzania. This will be the safari of your dreams ☺️😀

Verified Our experience with Mateys Wild Tours was absolutely unforgettable
We embarked on the 7-day Machame route to Kilimanjaro, guided by the exceptional Mike Sandi, and we couldn’t have asked for a better leader. Philipo’s detailed Kilimanjaro documents and tips were invaluable, setting us up perfectly for the challenge. While two of our group of six encountered altitude sickness, Mike, along with guides Peter and Alphonce, went above and beyond to ensure we all reached Uhuru Peak—words can't express our gratitude for their expertise and support! After the climb, we embarked on a 5-day safari through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, with Eric as our driver-guide. The journey was breathtaking, with Eric’s deep knowledge and enthusiasm making every moment unforgettable. The accommodations were top-notch—clean, comfortable, with delicious food that was the perfect end to our adventurous days. Mateys Wild Tours delivered an experience we’ll cherish forever!

Verified Great Supporting team and Ultimate Trip
Our journey with Mateys Wild Tours was an unforgettable adventure from start to finish. We began with the challenging 8 days Lemosho Route to Kilimanjaro's summit, where Mr. Mike's exceptional leadership and expertise guided us to a successful and rewarding ascent. Following our climb, we had the privilege of visiting Msamaria Kids Center, where we offered our support to the orphaned children—a deeply touching and meaningful experience. Our adventure continued with a 2-day safari through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, expertly led by the incredibly friendly Swahibu, who shared his vast knowledge of the region’s wildlife. The trip concluded with a refreshing swim at the Chemka Hot Springs, followed by a seamless transfer to the airport. We are especially grateful to Isaac, who worked tirelessly to accommodate our every request, ensuring that our trip was perfectly tailored to our needs. The outstanding service and personal touches provided by Mateys Wild Tours made this journey truly special, and we highly recommend them for an exceptional and meaningful experience in Tanzania.
