Overview

This 8-day adventure offers an immersive experience through East Africa’s renowned northern circuit parks. Spend four days in the Serengeti, the largest of these parks, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring migration of over a million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras. Next, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and the unique opportunity to view wildlife on the crater floor. Visit Tarangire National Park, often likened to a smaller Serengeti but distinguished by its impressive elephant populations. The journey concludes with a scenic hike along the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering a fitting finale to this remarkable itinerary.

Upon your arrival at the airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. If desired, we can make an additional stop in Arusha City for sightseeing and to help you prepare for the following day’s activities. In the evening, you will receive a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming tour. Additionally, you have the option to visit Kilima Moto for a brief hike and enjoy a scenic sunset view.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am, and after a brief introduction to your guide, we’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour journey. Renowned for its diverse landscapes and ancient Baobab trees, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. During our game drive, we’ll focus on recent animal sightings; while predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are more elusive, herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are frequently visible.

Following the game drive, we’ll enjoy lunch at the river picnic site, where you can relax and take in the scenic views. Be prepared for playful encounters with small monkeys and baboons. After lunch, we’ll continue exploring the park before heading to Marera View Lodge around 5:30 pm for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park on a scenic six-hour drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a brief stop at the crater viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views, and optionally visit a Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience (USD 10 per person). Arrive in the Serengeti by late afternoon and embark on an exciting game drive in the Seronera area, where you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife as the sun sets over the endless plains. Later, continue to Serengeti Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day will go to the wider parts of the Serengeti northwest depending on wildlife movements, so after an early breakfast will go on an early game drive with a picnic lunch, The game drive will focus on Mara Serengeti hopefully seeing the herds of the migration crossing and continue the game drive to evening then return to the heritage Mara camps for dinner & overnight stay, also animals can be spotted on camp

On this day will also visit Mara exploring the west of Mara, seeing the formations of wildebeests gathering as they prepare to cross the Mara River hopefully seeing the migration crossings so after an early breakfast will go on an early game drive, we will later have lunch and continue the game drive to evening then return to the heritage mara camp.

After an early breakfast will go on an early game drive south of Serengeti toward Seronera & eventually will exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon heading to Serena Ngorongoro lodge with crater view (2hrs drive) near the rim of Ngorongoro crater.

After an early breakfast will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhino, rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being floor crater

After lunch will do the game drive and ascend the crater to camp and pack for the trip to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha.

After breakfast will go to the Materuni waterfalls, where you will do a short hike for two hours witnessing great vegetation, surreal views & waterfalls then proceed to learn about the coffee processing in a small local organic farm having local lunch at the farm before driving to the airport.
