This 10-day Kenya & Tanzania mid-range safari is a seamless journey through East Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, starting in Nairobi and exploring Lake Nakuru National Park for rhinos and flamingos before heading to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve for Big Five sightings and classic savannah landscapes; the adventure then continues into Tanzania’s legendary Serengeti National Park with its vast plains and abundant wildlife, followed by the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and the scenic beauty of Lake Manyara National Park, ending in Arusha, making it a well-balanced Kenya and Tanzania safari tour combining diverse ecosystems, rich wildlife, and comfortable mid-range accommodations.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we set out for a final Serengeti game drive, marveling at its iconic wildlife and sweeping landscapes before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. Surrounded by towering volcanic walls, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a pristine wilderness of golden savannahs, acacia woodlands, shimmering lakes, and lush swamps. Descending into the crater, you’ll encounter dense populations of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species, with a chance to spot the rare black rhino. Following a picnic lunch and an unforgettable game drive, we continue to our luxury lodges in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
