Your team will start the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,336 ft) from Barafu Camp at night. Although the climb itself is technically straightforward, the high altitude can make even basic activities feel demanding. Each climber will be paired with a personal guide throughout the ascent to closely monitor their physical and mental state. After reaching Uhuru Peak, you have the option to explore the nearby glacier before descending back to Barafu Camp. There, you can take a 2-hour rest before continuing your descent to Millennium Camp.

Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

Elevation: 19,341 ft to 10,065 ft | Habitat: Rain Forest

Distance: 12 km | 7 miles | Hiking Time: 4-6 hours
