On your final safari day, start early with a quick breakfast before descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—the world’s largest unfilled volcanic caldera. Spanning 260 sq km and over 2,000 feet deep, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Enjoy a thrilling 5-hour game drive and a picnic lunch by the scenic Hippo Pool before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha. You’ll arrive by early evening, filled with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s natural wonders.
